After 'The Grace'

As Christians, we have been called to live a holy life, patterning our actions after that of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. How do we check whether or not we are living up to this? It is not just the way we behave when we gather as a Church in fellowship, but rather the way we act after the grace has been shared and everyone disperses.

Some people act all Holy in the gathering of the believers, but after it all, they go back to the old way of life. We are the light of the world and we are to shine. When we gather as brethren, we are encouraged and purified so that our light shines brighter. Then we are to shine in the dark world. Wherever we school, work, live, our light is needed.

Check yourself today. Do the people you interact with apart from brethren know you are a Christian? Or will it shock them to find out that you are one because of the way you live? Do not be ashamed to be called a Christian and let your life shine before men so that your Father may be glorified.  Let your life after the grace be worthy of emulation and bring pleasure to your Father in Heaven.
